EVERY DAY MATTERS
THe Anxious Child Seminar
Hello School Families,
We recognize that many families were unable to attend the recent discussion on the impact of social media, cell phones, and the virtual world on our children’s mental health. We explored the growing challenges our children are facing in this digital age. The session highlighted the skyrocketing mental health challenges, including a meteoric rise in self-harm, anxiety, and even suicide among children.
To ensure this important information reaches as many families as possible, we recorded the session and are making it available for you to view at your convenience. We believe that in order to make real progress in addressing these issues, it will take a collective effort from all of us within the community. While setting boundaries for our children and maintaining strong convictions is vital, the pervasive nature of these challenges makes it difficult for parents to address alone.
We urge you to take the time to watch the discussion or read the book. Together, we can raise awareness, share important warnings, and explore possible solutions to help protect our children’s well-being. Your involvement is crucial as we work together to create a healthier, safer environment for our children.
