Woodland Early Childhood Center has been providing families in our community with a safe, loving and rich learning environment for more than 20 years. We are a recognized leader in early childhood education by the Early Learning Coalition and the Florida Department of Education. We are fully accredited by the National Council for Private School Accreditation and Florida Association of Christian Colleges and Schools.

2016 VPK enrollment information 
We currently are accepting applications for our Free Voluntary Pre Kindergarten, VPK with enrichment classes and VPK with before and after care. The curriculum includes reading, math and language activities, as well as phonemic awareness. WECC is rated as one of the top scoring centers in Manatee County!  More information 



Standards of Ethical Conduct and Mandatory Reporting of Suspected Child Abuse

In accord with the Florida Ethics in Education Act, all employees of Woodland Early Childhood Center and related programs have a duty to report all suspected or actual cases of child abuse, abandonment, or neglect; have immunity from liability if they report such cases in good faith and have a duty to comply with child protective investigations.  There is a legal penalty for not reporting suspected or alleged child abuse or alleged misconduct by instructional personnel or school administrators.  The Florida Abuse Hotline is 1-800-962-2873.  The WECC contact is Mrs. Jennifer Passmore, Director.
